The path so far

Pankhuri graduated from IIT Roorkee in 2013 with a B.Tech in Production and Industrial Engineering, and with about a decade of experience as a central banker, her vision is to expand Kathak's global outreach by exploring the intersection of technology and tradition.

She is trained under the Guru-Shishya Parampara by world-renowned Guru Dr Pali Chandra, and has assisted the research, editing, compilation, and interior design of her Guru's book, The Complete Works of Kathak, published in April 2026.

Her devotion to Kathak has translated into certifications through Akhil Bhartiya Gandharv Mahavidyalaya Mandal and Bharati Vidyapeeth and residential intensives at Gurukul Switzerland. She heads her dance initiatives through her creative studio in Mumbai, सं Studio | de Nṛtya.

She has also co-founded a brand on Conscious Parenting and Unschooling under the banner Life of PI Square. She lives in Mumbai, with her husband and twin daughters.
